ICK and Delta Tech International Ltd Sign Strategic Partnership to Drive Innovation in Real Estate Design and Design and Consultancy

In a significant move aimed at fostering innovation and sustainable development, Institut Catholique de Kabgayi (ICK) and Delta Tech International Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, on April 5.

This collaboration is set to harness expertise in four key areas: real estate design, project consultancy, and research and innovation.

The signing, held at ICK headquarters, was accompanied by exclusive insights from both parties, shared with ICK News, elucidating the pivotal nature of this partnership.

Dr. Hiraire Yankurije, Permanent Secretary of Delta Tech International Ltd, underscored the primary objective of the partnership, emphasizing the utilization of ICK’s expertise, closely affiliated with Rome, to bolster environmental projects.

Yankurije emphasized the importance of collaboration with ICK’s experts to streamline environmental initiatives effectively.

Additionally, he highlighted their intent to tap into ICK’s resources for establishing a construction arm and leveraging their proficiency in house plan designs.

Yankurije remarked, “The partnership with ICK opens exciting avenues for us to advance our environmental projects and expand into construction ventures. With their expertise and support, we aim to make significant strides in addressing environmental challenges and delivering innovative solutions.”

He also lauded the pivotal role of the Business Incubation Center of Kabgayi, poised to nurture entrepreneurial ventures and foster innovation.

Dr. Innocent Simpunga, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Development at ICK, echoed enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing ICK’s readiness to bolster Delta Tech International Ltd in this venture.

With expertise in consultancy and business planning, ICK stands poised to contribute significantly to the success of joint initiatives. Dr. Simpunga highlighted ICK’s recognition by the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), underscoring the institution’s credibility and impact in driving socio-economic development.

Dr. Simpunga expressed, “We are delighted to partner with Delta Tech International Ltd in this endeavor. Our institution is committed to fostering innovation and driving sustainable development. Through this collaboration, we aim to leverage our expertise to support Delta Tech’s initiatives and contribute to Rwanda’s socio-economic growth.”

On the side of ICK, the MoU signed by the Vice-Chancellor of ICK, Father Prof. Fidele Dushimimana

The partnership, inked today, is slated to last for one year, with provisions for renewal. During this period, ICK will play a pivotal role in providing Delta Tech International Ltd with project ideas and facilitating access to funding opportunities in other countries.
