Speaking to ICK News, Father Prof. Dushimimana revealed that ICK is committed to supporting bright students from poor families, as one of the Catholic ecclesiae’s missions is to help the needy.
“Actually, the reason behind offering these scholarships is that we see clever students who haven’t the means to go to university. So we provide these opportunities so that they can at least study,” said the Vice Chancellor of ICK.
Father Prof. Dushimimana also expressed his gratitude to Monsignor Balthazar Ntivuguruzwa, who initiated this program of granting scholarships to bright students from poor families.
In this regard, Father Prof. Dushimimana assured Bishop Ntivuguruzwa of his commitment to increase the number of scholarship recipients in accordance with the available financial capacity.
